Best first power chair!
Great for outdoors or indoors! Folds down easily. You will need someone with muscles to lift. Runs very smooth. Super comfortable. Holds a charge for a long time. It’s giving me confidence and independence back.

I spent many hours researching electric wheelchairs online before discovering the Equinox. This model had everything I was looking for—and more. New lease on life
Purchased this for my mother. It was a total joy to watch her finally feel free again. There was alot of places she couldn't go since most places don't have access to mobility scooters. Her maiden voyage was going to the mall and I never seen her smile and light up. It brought new life into her. The chair is excellently made. The weld areas are extremely good quality. My step dad was a welder all his life and I grew up around that so trust me its really good quality. Chair can be a bit heavy to load into a van so make sure you can lift a good 50 plus pounds and that is with the batteries out. It was liberating watching someone feel like they have regained a new lease on life really brought her out of the duldrums of her reclining health. Wished they offered a seat pad that wasn't super thick. Mom is short with short legs so she does struggle a bit getting properly situated in the seat. But the overall experience is well worth the purchase.

Freedom!!! Highly Portable Powered Wheelchair Makes It Possible
If they were available, I would give ten stars. The price is right. Size and weight make this foldable chair very easy to pack. This chair made a recent visit to a State Park very enjoyable for an 83-year-old handicapper. Easy to drive, it has multiple speed settings, great safety features and comfort settings. Some assembly required, but straight forward and easy. Customer service was outstanding. I needed to contact them because I misread operating instructions, their clear (and same day) response got me 'on the road' immediately.

This is my second item for transportation,first is a nice scooter but it weighs about 135 # plus a electric lift. Can't always get someone to drive , Neuropathy has slowed my driving. So now I have 60# chair I can put in truck an cars , love the way it Folds. I weigh 265 it has plenty power going up .y 30 foot ramp to my home . The seat is snug but I'm a as large person. Driving is fun with the stick Steer , an has a remote, very handy plenty of speed . Travels great on grass , gravel , concrete, hard dirt , but don't go Beach riding. HaHa. I get too go to more baseball games an Softball games , I'm 75 an really do enjoy it. Glad I purchased it , an would do it again.

Fast and good looking
This thing is awesome. I get compliments on it all the time. It’s fast so be careful and only use gears 4&5 if you are not going to be turning. The front wheels hit the foot plate and your feet on turn arounds and sharp turns. You get used to it though and you just scoot your feet forward a little. I love it it is a work horse. When it comes to the batteries so far they are awesome.
I am always on the move and working on something so I run 1 battery in it while the other one charges. They charge faster that way too. All in all a great purchase and I highly recommend it for anyone.

Excellent Electric Wheelchair
This a very well built wheelchair with plenty of great features.
The convenience of the two removeable lithium battery packs is excellent.
The mechanical structure looks to be very solid and looks like it can withstand a lot of weight and stress. It folds up very nicely and has a nice cover. The seat is very comfortable.
The weight is not bad for something this well built. It has strong motors and can do a zero radius one hundred eighty degree turn.

Best power chair
Bought this power chair for my husband. He has difficulty walking any distance so we have missed many fairs and car shows lately. He was looking for a wheelchair and told him to get any electric one. After a few weeks of looking on amazon he came across the Equinox Power Wheelchair. We read all the reviews. We decided to order it and surprise it came 2 days earlier than it said. When we removed it from the box it was more than we had hoped for. Most of the chair is already assembled. He is very impressed with the quality of the materials they used and the safety aspect for the user. This is an excellent buy and we would order it again.

The best power for your money hands down
I looked at so many chairs before purchasing this one. It had everything thing I want. It had the 700 watts of power the space and the joy stick is very responsive. It works like the big expensive power chair. I had to have a carrier on the back of my car to transport it on it was very difficult to install. This chair is very easy to fold up and put in the back of the car. It is only a little heavier than my regular no power wheel chair. I just take out the batteries and its fine. I can travel thru my house up and down my hall way with no problem I use to get stuck with the other chair this has been great. So much so that when I get some free money I will be purchasing another one . In my opinion this is the best chair your money can buy you won't be disappointed it has given my the freedom to go where I want to. I went to the bank the other day and took the chair. The bank receptionist told me to be careful because she thought I was going to hit the wall but when she saw how easy it was to maneuver she want the information to get for her father. Its a great chair. This is my first time writing a review on any thing I have ever purchased on Amazon and I get at least 2 to 3 orders a week for years this thing is amazing. For you big guys it will work for you to I am 6'2" tall it fits good i did get the extra cushion and it gave me a little more hite which is that much better. Get this chair you will love it.

I refer to this chair as the triple threat, because it meets and exceeds the TOP 3 necessities anyone needing this type of chair would want. First is durability and quality of construction. It’s quality of building and craftsmanship exceeds chairs costing thousands more.Secondly, the battery and length of available usage per charge. This chair comes with 2 long lasting batteries,Thirdly, and what I consider one of the most important requirements, next to a strong battery… The 700W motors. Quality and reliability!
I searched all over Amazon and did so many comparisons (some don’t even offer a 30 day return/replacement but this one did) until i finally decided on this one. And i am pleased to say i made a great choice! I have ovarian cancer,addisons disease AND POTS which i can still walk but not long distances. Now i can go shopping with my daughter again and be comfortable! I don’t have to miss out on things anymore which is great! My husband was even impressed with it and was testing it out (riding in it) and even used the remote to go park it lol I also like the high back on it because i am 5’9. I would highly recommend this one 10/10!

This is a sturdy machine with two large motors and two large batteries.
I liked the description of the machine and the price so I ordered one even though I couldn't place the name or address of the vendor: GRITLIFE. Well, now they have sent me a letter with their address and phone number and offering to provide me with two extra batteries. The wheelchair appears to be very well designed and well made and by comparison is priced at a bargain. So I'm pleased and happy about the purchase. When I unpacked it and opened the chair I was very frustrated because I couldn't find the owner's manual and warranty. Turns out I had missed it when removing the other items from the bag under the seat. It was at the very bottom and hard to feel when reaching under the seat. It should have been packed in the bag with the seat cushion so it was obvious at the start. But now I have just about all my questions answered. Like where are the batteries? Turns out they are ingeniously placed inside the long box transverse braces bearing the Equinox name.Well, the owners manual is generally adequate if read very carefully. But the info about paring the extra remote control (dont know why you'd ever need it) is incorrect. And there is no mention of the excellent velcro cover that comes with it and would be useful if you have to check the folded chair with an airline. I tried it out and I think I have in on right. The velcro, when carefully folded together, seems to be tough enough to allow lifting the package by the handles on the sides of the cover. Quite impressive. As is the whole wheelchair. Because the chair is so sturdy it is also a bit heavy to transport. A natural tradeoff.P.S. I have since been told that at its weight of 63 lbs., it exceeds the allowable 50 lb. limit for Viking Cruises. They informed me ten days before the travel date and forced my cancellation. I have since had time to order an alleged 33 lb. model from Amazon. But doubt that, when it arrives, it will serve as well for other than travel. I have gone about 5 miles on the Equinox around my neighborhood, at times at top speed 5. That's about as fast as most persons can run. I note that at that speed beware hitting a rough spot. A seat belt would be necessary to assure staying in the chair. One does come in the package.

So far so good…
So far so good. Pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the chair is. I’m 5’9” and 200 lbs and it fits me nicely. I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user meaning I can walk but just not for long distances.Joystick is very responsive and even on the slowest speed it is a nice walking speed for others.Convenient pockets under the seat and on the back of the seat hold the charger and other items. In manual mode someone can push the chair or I can walk behind it using it like a walker.I purposely purchased a chair that has the ability to recline the back because I read that they are more comfortable and I’ve found that is true.I haven’t used the chair for long distances so I’m not sure of the battery life quite yet.The Equinox chair is so much easier to use than my conventional wheelchair.Only negatives so far is it seems a little heavier than the listing noted and there was a squeak in one of the front wheels as I used it but I think my husband fixed it.Overall, for the cost, it’s a good buy.

You May Get More Than What You Pay For
I bought this chair for my uncle after trying out two others around the same price point—and returning both. They looked good online but turned out to be poorly designed and cheaply made. I was close to giving up and spending more on a higher-end model, but the Equinox looked promising in the photos, so I gave it one last shot.I’m amazed—and honestly relieved—that a chair at this price could be built this well. If this is what a proper wheelchair is, I don’t know what those other two were. This thing is built like a tank.My uncle weighs about 245 lbs, and he mentioned how sturdy the armrests feel when he pushes down to get up. The chair has no trouble handling his steep, gravel driveway—proof that it has serious motor power. He’s also taken it on trails, and the anti-tip wheels are a smart touch. The battery life is impressive—after a full day out, he didn’t recharge until day 3, and it still showed more than half a charge.He has some lower back issues, and the reclining feature has been a real relief. The lever is easy to reach, and it helped him stay comfortable during a recent staycation. He also mentioned how convenient it was during his hotel stay—he didn’t have to unload and unfold the whole chair. Since the batteries are accessible from the side, he was able to pop them out while the chair was still folded in the trunk. That’s a smart design feature that made things so much easier.This chair has truly given my uncle a new sense of freedom and independence, and I’m genuinely impressed by the quality.
